Preparing your Kirby for shipping
If your Kirby has stopped working, won't switch on, has lost performance, or is making unusual noises, our experienced technicians can help diagnose and repair the problem.
Step 1 - Complete the Postal - Service or repair form
If you haven't done so already, please complete the online form to schedule your service or repair using the link below. After submitting the form, you'll receive a job number to track the progress of your repair with us.
IMPORTANT - Please do not send us your Kirby without first completing the form and providing tracking details. Without this information, we cannot track or assign the service or repair to our team.
Step 2 - Secure a box and packaging
You will need a suitable box and bubble wrap to ship and protect your Kirby. An ideal box size is 51cm x 33.5cm x 33cm. These can be purchased at stores like Office Works or Bunnings. The items shown are available online at Office Works via the links below.

Step 3 - Release the bag
To remove the bag, press the bag clip inward to release it from the handle, then pull it down.
Next, hold the base of the bag where it connects to the air exhaust port and twist it counterclockwise to detach it from the Kirby.
Step 4 - Unclip cord from upright handle
First, unroll the power cord from the cord hooks on the right side of the upright handle. Then, detach the cord from the hold points on the back of the upright handle, as shown in the attached illustration.
Step 5 - Release the handle
Press the handle release button located at the base of the upright handle, then pull the upright handle straight up and out of the slot.
Step 6 - Wrap base unit and power head

Step 7 - Pack for Sending
If you have not done so, complete the online form to schedule your service or repair using the link below. Once complete will will give you a job number
Step 8 - Seal and label for sending

Step 9 - Take to Australia Post
Take your Kirby to the nearest Australia Post outlet and send it to us. Regular post is fine but if you are in a hurry to can choose Express post.
IMPORTANT - Make sure to keep you reciept as you will need to inform us of the tracking number.
Step 10 - Send us tracking details
Once you have sent your Kirby update us with the tracking details by clicking on the button below.
